Tuesday’s Affordable Care Act ceremony at the White House proved embarrassing to President Joe Biden. Video of the “celebration” highlighted how former President Barack Obama profoundly upstaged Biden and according to Fox News’ Tucker Carlson, showed that “Joe Biden is now the most unpopular person in virtually any room he enters.”
Biden appears to be lost and shunned in several video clips of the social following the event.
The Tuesday Affordable Care Act ceremony took place in the Rose Garden at the White House. Former President Barack Obama was invited to the event as he initiated the legislation in 2010.
Obama’s visit to the White House marked his first return since 2017.
A previous RTM report noted that White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki highlighted the close friendship between Obama and Biden. However, video of the event appears to show Obama ignoring his former VP.
In an article titled: Biden Appears to be Ignored at His Own Party, the Freedom Times reported:
“Following an event at the White House with Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, and Barack Hussein Obama over the Affordable Care Act on Tuesday, Biden appeared to be wandering around alone as guests seemed more interested in talking to the former president.”
While running video of the event, Carlson provided scathing commentary noting that Biden appeared lost and shunned:
“Biden desperately tried to get Obama’s attention,” Carlson exclaims. “He puts his hand on Obama’s shoulder, even calls him ‘Barack’ like they’re friends, but Obama blows him off.”
Carlson continued by noting how, despite attempts to enter a conversation, no one in the room acknowledged his presence. Carlson commented:
“[Obama] acts like Biden is not even there. Ask yourself if you have ever in your life seen anything sadder than this.”
Carlson ended his segment by saying, “Ahhh, make it stop. It’s awful,” then speculated that “Democrats have decided to replace Joe Biden.”
