BLM leaders have a history of justifying burning businesses, destroying homes, and “showing up screaming at Senator McConnell’s home,” but now consider it “unsafe” to encounter a seven-months pregnant Candace Owens requesting an interview at a home owned by BLM.
Black Lives Matter co-founder Patrice Cullors, who resigned amid multiple financial scandals but still lives in a multimillion dollar home owned by BLM, received an unexpected visit from Daily Wire’s Candace Owens, who requested an interview.
Cullors refused to speak with Owens and then falsely tweeted that Owens “demanded” to speak. Cullors also claimed the visit threatened the safety of herself and her family.
Owens appeared on Monday’s “Tucker Carlson Tonight” to set the record straight. During the interview, Owens mocked Cullors for claiming that she had threatened her safety.
Showing side-by-side videos of her visit to Cullor’s home, noting what actually happened versus what Cullor tweeted happened, further discredits the former BLM leader.
Carlson carefully noted that Owens was pregnant when she went to Cullors’ home.
“Sorry to laugh; it’s just so ridiculous,” Carlson said. “Last time we talked, you were like seven months pregnant; it’s weird how threatening you can be in that condition,” Carlson quipped.
Owens replied: “I was seven-and-a-half months pregnant, rang the doorbell, had no idea she lived inside or was inside. I spoke to a white security guard for a couple of minutes; he was pretty friendly.”
Last year, the New York Post revealed that Cullors purchased four homes in California for a total of $3.2 million.
Cullors asserts she paid for the homes with income earned from being a college professor, TV producer and an author of two books. She adamantly denies using BLM proceeds to buy the homes. An investigation is ongoing.
Video shows that Owens never raised her voice nor demanded a meeting. Polite and professional Owens wished the guard, “Have a great day,” as she left. With surprise in her voice, Candace told Tucker:
“No sooner did we get in the car than [Cullors] was squeezing out fake tears, pretending that she was under duress, and it’s just so emblematic of exactly what Black Lives Matter is, you know? Emblematic of fake victimhood,” Owens said.
