Legacy media outlets cheered a Biden White House Christmas picture this week that showed a fireplace mantle hung with stockings for six of Joe and Jill Biden’s seven grandchildren.
The Associated Press’ White House reporter Darlene Superville tweeted photos with the caption, “Christmas stockings for the Biden grandkids hang from the fireplace mantel in the State Dining Room, which celebrates the gift of family.” People Magazine did a spread on the decorations, saying the grandchildren’s stockings were a “tribute” that offered a “personal touch.”
And in a story titled, “See the sweet tribute to Biden grandkids in White House Christmas décor,” The Today Show reported, “One display that stands out among the rest is in the State Dining Room, which encompasses the ‘Gift of Family.’ The knit stockings hanging on the mantle are a tribute to the Biden grandchildren — Naomi, 27, Finnegan, 21, Maisy, 20, Natalie, 17, and Robert Hunter Biden II, 15, and little Beau, 1.”
One name not included among the stockings — Hunter Biden’s three-year-old daughter, Navy Jones Roberts.
Though the youngest Biden son initially tried to deny that he was the girl’s father, or even that he’d engaged in sexual relations with her mother, as the Arkansas Democrat Gazette reported in March 2020, “A DNA test subsequently established, ‘with near scientific certainty,’ that Biden was the child’s father …”
According to numerous press reports, Hunter Biden met the girl’s mother, Arkansas native Lunden Alexis Roberts, while she was working at a strip club he was known to frequent in Washington, D.C.
He eventually wrote about their encounter in his memoir, “Beautiful Things,” saying, “It’s why I would later challenge in court the woman in Arkansas who had a baby in 2018 and claimed the child was mine. I had no recollection of our encounter. That’s how little connection I had with anyone. I was a mess, but a mess I’ve taken responsibility for.”
Yet according to a report from the New York Post, text messages retrieved from Biden’s lost laptop reveal that Roberts was on his payroll while she was pregnant with his child.

The former stripper … was on his consulting firm’s payroll during her pregnancy, text messages retrieved from his laptop reveal.
And the first son made sure she was booted off the company insurance plan months after she gave birth, according to the texts.
According to Roberts’ attorney, neither Joe nor Hunter Biden has ever seen three-year-old Navy.
“He’s not seen his child. He has no relationship with his child, by his own choosing,” lawyer Clint Lancaster told the Gazette. “Mr. Biden hasn’t taken responsibility for this child until he parents her.”
The story goes on:
President Joe Biden and his wife, Jill, have not seen the baby either, Lancaster said.
“Every child needs loving parents and loving grandparents. This child could stand a relationship with her father. She could stand a relationship with her grandfather,” he said.
