“A very interesting time in our Country, but do not worry, we will be great again—and we will all do it together,” Trump said in the message posted to Twitter by Liz Harrington.

“Enjoy your Thanksgiving knowing that a wonderful future lies ahead,” Trump concluded.

The former president told Fox News earlier this month any formal announcement of him running for president, in 2024, probably would not happen before next year’s midterm elections. Howard Kurtz added Trump spoke to an audience of police officers at a Sept. 11 remembrance.

“He knows what he wants to do but can’t talk because of election laws,” Kurtz reported Trump as saying to the audience, adding, “but you’ll be very happy.” New York police were ardent supporters of Trump so that statement seemed clear evidence he wants a return to the Oval Office.

If Trump ran again, would it be a redo of the 2020 election? White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki told reporters Monday that President Joe Biden plans to run for reelection. President Biden, 79, has faced increasing attacks from critics who question his cognitive ability. If he ran for reelection, he would be 82 on Election Day 2024.

A panel of Fox News hosts and one Democrat questioned whether Biden really plans to run again. Dana Perino, one of The Five, on Fox, asked why they would try to reassure people Biden would run again.

“If they did not say that, immediately he’s a lame duck,” Perion opined before noting the next primary is still three years away. “Another reason the Democrats are concerned is the 2020 campaign was a very different one.”

Perion pointed out the absence of baby-kissing at consecutive public events during a grueling campaign trail, and the probability that the next campaign will not be conducted via Zoom meetings.
