Sen. Rand Paul has made quite a few headlines lately, especially with his efforts to take down Dr. Anthony Fauci.
Paul led the way to bring Fauci down, by going after him for his “Gain of Function” research.
Just recently, during an interview with Sean Hannity, when pressed by Hannity if Fauci lied to Congress and broke the law, Paul responded, “Yes, and I will be sending a letter to the Department of Justice asking for a criminal referral because he has lied to Congress.”
“[Fauci] realizes that once the public realizes that the NIH funded the Wuhan Lab…once the public figures out that they were doing very, very dangerous research there, gain-of-function research, taking animal viruses and making them more transmissible to humans, once everybody puts this together, he realizes where the blame is going to attach,” Paul continued. “If this came from the lab he was funding, my goodness, can you imagine the moral culpability the man has?”
“That could be the worst governmental decision in the history of the world,” Paul added.
But Paul’s most recent post wasn’t about Fauci, it was about Biden. The Republican senator posted a picture of himself looking at guns, captioning it: “Just looking at all the guns @joebiden is going to try to ban…”
This was an obvious jab at Biden’s continuous efforts to limit gun rights and eventually, ban most guns, an effort which a lot of Democrats have backed.
During a July CNN town hall, Biden said that he is the ‘only guy that ever got — passed legislation when I was a senator to make sure we eliminated assault weapons.”
“The idea you need a weapon that can have the ability to fire 20, 30, 40, 50, 120 shots from that weapon, whether it’s a, whether it’s a 9mm pistol or whether it’s a rifle, is ridiculous.”
“I’m continuing to push to eliminate the sale of those things, but I’m not likely to get that done in the near term,” Biden added.
