Convicted sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell, 60, has reportedly struck up a friendship with fellow inmate Nancy Novack — the Florida woman convicted of coordinating the murders of her wealthy husband and his mother. Novack is serving a life sentence.
The Mirror first reported the story. An “inside source” reports, “Once inside, Ghislaine gravitated towards Nancy.”
The insider added: “Given their ages and millionaire backgrounds, they were always destined to get on well. Together, they spend hours talking, laughing, and joking.”
The New York Post noted that Maxwell, the confidant and partner of the late pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, was transferred to FCI Tallahassee in July where she will serve her 20-year sentence.
Novack’s infamous crime was profiled in a 2015 Lifetime movie titled “Beautiful & Twisted.” Novack, now 65, was portrayed by Paz Vega.
In 2012, Novack was sentenced to life in prison for orchestrating the 2009 bludgeonings of her husband, Ben Novack Jr., and his mother, Bernice Novack.
The murders occurred in Bernice’s Fort Lauderdale home.
During her trial, prosecutors depicted Novack as “sadistic” and “evil” for ordering assailants to gouge her husband’s eyes out before his death so that he could “never look at another woman even once dead.”
The Mirror’s source claims: “Because of her length of time inside and the brutality of her crime, she is treated like a female don. All the younger girls address her as ‘Miss Novack’ out of respect.”
“Ghislaine will have a modicum of protection through her friendship,” the insider added.
The Post noted that prison records confirm both women are currently held in FCI Tallahassee, a low-security prison.
