Kyle Rittenhouse announced on Sunday the launch of a new YouTube channel reportedly focused on Second Amendment issues.
Rittenhouse made headlines in 2020 when at age 17 he was charged with murdering two men during nights of rioting in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
The government’s mishandling of evidence and the notable bias against Rittenhouse in the media contributed to a jury finding Rittenhouse not guilty in Nov. 2021.
In the caption of his first video to launch his new channel, Rittenhouse wrote: “I am super excited to announce I will be starting a YouTube channel!”
Rittenhouse continued: “I look forward to creating content about guns and talking about the 2nd amendment with all of you!”
Rittenhouse was seated behind a desk as he made the video. Behind him was a black wall on which several high-powered semi-automatic rifles were mounted.
Joining Rittenhouse on the video was Brandon Herrera, “an online gun-focused content creator,” according to the Washington Examiner.
Herrera applauded the launch of the new video channel, noting with Rittenhouse that they would be bringing “some great content.”
The YouTube announcement video included a clip of Rittenhouse firing weapons at a gun range and from a helicopter.
The Examiner report noted that earlier this year, Rittenhouse announced the creation of a video game that allows players to shoot “fake news turkeys.”
At this time, it is unclear whether or not Rittenhouse will file defamation suits against “media companies and Big Tech,” as he previously reported.
