On Thursday, Henry County Superior Court Chief Judge Brian Amero dismissed a lawsuit alleging 2020 election fraud in Fulton county.

The Independent reports that the lawsuit, originally filed in December, sought a review of roughly 147,000 absentee ballots and followed a motion filed last July to immediately inspect the ballots in Fulton County.

Judge Amero stated that voters bringing the case forward “failed to allege a particularized injury” and “didn’t have the legal standing to claim their constitutional rights had been violated.”

In dismissing the case, Judge Amero said, “The suit sought a review of some 147,000 absentee ballots in search of illegitimate votes, but no evidence emerged to justify such a broad search.”

The lawsuit was brought forward by Garland Favorito and nine other Georgia voters.

Displeased with the ruling, Favorito wrote in an email: “All citizens of Georgia have a right to know whether or not counterfeit ballots were injected into the Fulton Co. election results, how many were injected, where they came from, and how we can prevent it from happening again in future elections.”

Favorito stated that his team had “prepared diligently to show the evidence of our allegations” at a hearing Amero had previously scheduled for Nov. 15. He added, “It is not adequate for any organizations to secretly tell us there are no counterfeit ballots and refuse to let the public inspect them.”

In recent months, efforts to audit the 2020 elections have gained momentum, with legal challenges in process in Pennsylvania, Arizona, Texas, Wisconsin, and Georgia.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reportes that “almost 200 duplicate ballots were found last week in Fulton County…by a major voting group,” making contesting Judge Amero’s decision today likely.

The discovery of identical ballots was brought to light by a group of voters called VoterGA, which is seeking to prove that the election was fraudulent.

The VoterGA group states that analysis of Fulton’s mail-in ballot images shows “evidence of massive fraud in Fulton County.”

In an amended  complaint, the VOTERGA group claims to have “new evidence from public records that show Fulton County’s hand count audit of the Nov. 3, 2020 election was riddled with massive errors and provable fraud.”

In the complaint, VOTERGA states that their “team found at least 36 batches of mail-in ballots with 4,255 total extra votes were redundantly added into Fulton Co. audit results for the November election. These illicit votes include 3,390 extra votes for Joe Biden, 865 extra votes for Donald Trump.”

Election integrity groups also claim election document chain of custody irregularities, noting that documents for absentee ballots which represent approximately 333,000 ballots, cannot be found.
