Podcast host Joe Rogan slammed educators who push a “progressive ideology” in schools, saying it’s not their job, and brought up issues surrounding drag queen shows oriented towards children and sexually charged books in some school districts.
During a recent episode of Spotify’s “The Joe Rogan Experience” podcast, the host spoke with guest comedian Dave Smith. Both the host and guest questioned how people seemed to be unable to agree that “sexualizing little kids” is wrong, whether heterosexual or some “LGBTQ, sort of thing.”
“Children are very malleable,” Rogan explained. “They always have been. That’s how you can get children to be religious martyrs. Like how do you think they talk those kids into strapping themselves up with dynamite and walking in to some building and blowing themselves up?”
“They do it through coercion,” he added. “They teach them. They can get a person … you can get a child to ascribe to all sorts of ideologies. Hateful ideologies. Loving ideologies. We imitate our environment … But my point is for good or for bad. Even though you think you’re doing a good thing, you’re still not doing what you’re supposed to do.”
“What you’re supposed to do as an educator is teach kids,” the host continued. “Teach kids. Give them information. You’re not supposed to be grooming them towards a particular ideology or lifestyle.”
Rogan stated that he didn’t mean “grooming in a sexual” sense and instead meant that educators aren’t meant to be “schooling [kids] to behave a certain way or to think a certain way … or to go against their parents beliefs … that’s not your job.”
The host then asked Smith to imagine if, rather than teachers pushing woke lifestyles, they were instead talking about heterosexual sex life.
“Imagine if you had little kids in your class, 8, 9, 10-years old and you started talking about male and female intercourse,” the podcast host said. “Like people would go ‘what are you doing? What are you doing?”
“But there’s books that kids can get out of the library in certain school districts that they’ve put in there that show like oral sex … like oral sex between two males,” he added. “Or a male and female …”
“If we are talking purely heterosexual relationships, we would all agree, that is absolutely not a teacher’s job to explain to a child how … what kind of sexual acts males and females like to do to each other,” Rogan continued. “What turns them on.”
Smith then mentioned that those in the “corporate press” push the narrative that these events aren’t happening in schools, but that we live in a new world, and sites like Libs of TikTok are able to bypass the mainstream media and show it does.
Rogan said drag queens “dress up in revealing outfits,” and instead of drag shows for kids, “imagine again the heterosexual version.”
“Imagine a bunch of strippers in their 30s and 40s and they’re getting young girls to strip and dance for men in the audience,” the host said. “Imagine if you ever saw that … that would be a horrendous thing … like why are you taking away their innocence?”
“But if it’s a drag show and you have like a 10-year-old drag queen and he goes out there and he’s fabulous,” he added. “‘Look at him, He’s amazing.’ But you’re sexualizing this young person.”
