For those seeking recompense for the maniacal maneuverings of key leaders in the Democratic Party in recent years, Hunter Biden’s “laptop from hell” is the gift that keeps on giving.
The phrase’s origin is uncertain, but it can be found on multiple platforms and has been uttered by bloggers, podcasters, news anchors, and government leaders — including at least one former president.
In yet another drip of salacious news, laptop contents show Hunter Biden disparaging former Pres. Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton, her aides and business partner Eric Schwerin, now Delaware’s Chief Deputy Attorney General.
Fox News reports that in April 2016, Schwerin shared a video clip of Bill Clinton clashing with Black Lives Matter’ protesters during a 2016 Hillary Clinton campaign event in Philadelphia.
The clash centered on the tougher sentencing provisions introduced in a 1994 crime bill, dubbed the Clinton Crime Bill. In the clip, the former President attempts to shift responsibility for the outcome by pointing out that the bill was pushed by then-Sen. Joe Biden.
Hunter took issue with Clinton’s campaign tactics in an email thread with Alexander Mackler, who was deputy counsel to Vice President Biden at the time.
Trying to cast a negative light on Joe Biden, Bill Clinton said: “Hillary didn’t vote for that bill, because she wasn’t in the Senate. She was spending her time trying to get health care for poor kids – who were they? And their lives matter.”
In an economy of language, Hunter goes on to describe Bill Clinton with a few three- and four-letter adjectives.
In the email thread, Mackler seems to agree with Hunter’s assessments but also seems to appreciate Bill Clinton’s political acumen saying, “he gave a damn forceful pro-minority defense of the crime bill.”
Stuck in first gear, Hunter responds with another expletive.
In a pot-calling-the-kettle-black scenario, a March 2015 email exchange with Mackler shows Hunter Biden criticizing Clintons’ inner circle, including Doug Band and Huma Abedin, as “greedy” for taking government salaries while also getting paid in the private sector at the same time.
“How greedy can you possibly be?” Hunter asked.
Hunter went on to call their behavior “Petty, Greedy, Venal, Low Rent bulls—.”
In a 2015 email exchange, Hunter Biden, Schwerin and Mackler criticized Sec. of State Hillary Clinton and aide Cheryl Mills, whom a Washington Post article noted was employed by Abu Dhabi.
“This is incredible. It never ends,” Mackler said.
“Truly absurd. If this is acceptable then would it also have been acceptable for Ron Klain to remain general counsel of Revolution while acting as COS for the VP?” Hunter asked.
The Bidens seem to be pressed on multiple fronts at this time. Hunter’s laptop data was recently entered into the Congressional Record, and Hunter is the target of a federal investigation into his foreign business dealings, which some believe will implicate Pres. Joe Biden and other top Democrats.
The investigation is being conducted by David Weiss, the U.S. attorney for the district of Delaware. Recently, in a heated exchange, Attorney General Merrick Garland refused requests for bipartisan oversight of the investigation.
Hunter denies any wrongdoing and has not yet been charged with a crime related to the investigation.
