With the Ghislaine Maxwell case now concluded, the New York Post reports the FBI’s “next target” could be Prince Andrew.
On Tuesday, Ghislaine Maxwell was sentenced to 20 years in prison for sex trafficking with Jeffery Epstein.
The Mirror reported that attorneys representing Maxwell and Epstein’s victims have requested that U.S. authorities investigate other associates in the crime ring — including the disgraced British royal Prince Andrew.
“Obviously, Andrew is one target they will be looking into,” lawyer Spencer Kuvin reportedly said to the New York Post.
Kuvin added: “He should definitely be concerned, but … if he did nothing wrong, then come forward and tell the full story to the FBI, not the media.
On orders approved by Queen Elizabeth, Andrew’s mother, the prince, also known as the Duke of York, was stripped of his titles and royal duties in January. The move was facilitated by “disastrous attempts to deny knowing longtime Epstein accuser Virginia Giuffre,” according to the Post.
In 2021, Giuffre filed a lawsuit in Manhattan claiming the prince sexually abused her when she was 17, when Epstein and Maxwell trafficked her.
Under pressure by the royal family to settle the matter quickly and quietly, Andrew made arrangements to settle out of court with Giuffre in February.
Giuffre’s Attorney, Brad Edwards, and Lisa Bloom, an attorney who represented several trafficked women, also called on the FBI to probe Prince Andrew.
“Virginia Giuffre’s civil case should be just the beginning. Everyone associated with Epstein and Maxwell should be carefully investigated,” Bloom said, according to the Daily Mail.
Another Epstein and Maxwell associate on the FBI’s radar is Sarah Kellen, a former Epstein assistant.
Kellen who now claims to be a victim herself was identified during the trial as a person who scheduled girls to give Epstein massages and photographed them nude.
During Maxwell’s sentencing on Tuesday, U.S. District Judge Alison Nathan said that Kellen was “a criminally responsible participant…in the criminal conspiracy” involving Maxwell and Epstein.
In a separate interview with the Daily Beast, Giuffre’s attorney Brad Edwards said, “The way that I see it is: Sarah has been given dozens if not hundreds of chances to potentially reposition herself in this narrative.”
Edwards added: “You’re either on the side of the victims or the other side, which is the side of the bad guys.”
Epstein faced multiple charges of sex trafficking minors when he unexpectedly died while in custody at the Manhattan Metropolitan Correctional Center in 2019.
