Retired Army Lieutenant General Michael Flynn predicts President Joe Biden’s lies about Hunter’s laptop, which were supported by “50 former national intelligence officials,” will catch up with him soon, and justice will be served.
On Monday, Flynn shared a video on Telegram noting how then-presidential candidate Biden claimed the Hunter Biden laptop story was “Russian disinformation” and supported his claim by citing a letter signed by more than four dozen intelligence officials.
On March 29, Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Fla., announced coming legislation (called the “Spook Who Cried Wolf Resolution”) which would “indefinitely bar security clearances” to 51 former U.S. intelligence officials who signed “a letter decrying the contents of Hunter Biden’s laptop as Russian disinformation.”
Politico reported that the Oct. 19, 2020, letter “signed by more than 50 intelligence experts, including five former CIA directors or acting directors, evidences a conspiracy to sway the election in Biden’s favor.”
In his Telegram post, Flynn said, “It was all a lie,” and predicted “there will be accountability” for the “criminals involved in dangerously hurting our country.”
Flynn also noted that Special Counsel John Durham’s investigation would bring guilty parties to justice.
President Joe Biden made his comments during the Oct. 22, 2020, final presidential debate. When then-President Donald Trump suggested the emails on the laptop showed that Biden was “a corrupt politician” and referred to Hunter Biden’s laptop as “the laptop from hell,” Biden responded:
“There are 50 former national intelligence folks who said that what this, he’s accusing me of, is a Russian plant…They have said that this has all the characteristics — four, five former heads of the CIA, both parties — say what he’s saying is a bunch of garbage.”
Many media outlets, including, notably, The New York Times (which has since admitted their initial stories about the Hunter Biden’s computer were flawed), pushed the pro-Biden narrative that the Hunter Biden laptop story was Russian disinformation.
In his Monday post, General Flynn wrote, “It was all a lie and the entire Russia Russia Russia was all made up BS.”
Demanding accountability, Flynn continued: “I pray that Durham will come down hard on the criminals involved in dangerously hurting our country. Not only did it seriously affect my family and I, but the president and his entire family, the presidency of the United States of America and the entire nation—every single one of us.”
Flynn concluded with this warning: “This conspiracy was and remains totally unacceptable, and there will be accountability.”
The New York Post reported:
[The] 51 former “intelligence” officials who cast doubt on Hunter Biden laptop stories in a public letter really were just desperate to get Joe Biden elected president. And more than a year later, even after their Deep State sabotage has been shown again and again to be a lie, they refuse to own up to how they undermined an election.”
