United States President Joe Biden’s mental health has been in question since before the 2020 election. A recent battery of testing surrounding an outpatient procedure produced more questions than answers.
RTM previously reported that following Biden’s procedure, Dr. Kevin O’Connor released a report indicating that the President underwent a battery of tests, including neurological testing.
The Conservative Brief noted that as a result of that testing, O’Connor “essentially [gave] the President a clean bill of health.”
CNBC followed Dr. O’Connor’s statement with a headline reading: “Biden remains fit for duty, doctor says in summary of president’s medical examination.”
Many are not convinced.
In a Newsmax interview with former White House Physician under President Barack Obama, Dr. Ronny Jackson, host Rob Finnerty asked the doctor if he thought “anything was missing” from the report.
“There was a lot missing, Rob. Honestly, there was six pages of stuff that most people just don’t care about. I mean, Dr. O’Conner spent six pages addressing an occasional cough and some stiffness and things like that, when the elephant in the room is the President’s cognitive ability.”
“He’s just not aging gracefully at this point,” said Jackson, according to Conservative Brief.
Jackson added, “The far-left and the mainstream media were relentless in their pursuit of me to do something to address not only [former President Donald Trump’s] physical capabilities but his mental capabilities, which we did.”
Trump received a cognitive test in July 2020.
In response to requests for medical testing, Fox News reports that last month, the White House said Biden will have a physical exam “later this year.”
Their report notes that both Trump and Obama underwent medical exams at the beginning of the second year of their term.
Jackson, who recently said in an interview with Rep. Jim Banks (R-Ind.), “I’m 100 percent sure that Joe Biden is incapable of doing that job,” responded to the White House promise of a medical exam by saying, “The White House has not said if the cognitive exam will be included during the President’s health screening.”
Jackson also noted that the desire for routine cognitive testing for the President of the United States is something House Speaker Nancy Pelosi argued for in 2020.
In October 2020, Pelosi introduced a bill that would “create a bipartisan commission of health advisors to evaluate the ability of a president to serve in the highest office in the U.S.”
Citing the need to avoid a partisan double standard regarding cognitive testing, Jackson said: “As far as I’m concerned, the standard precedent has been set and they need to follow and do the same.”
